Wine Dog resides in Napa Valley, where he and his family enjoy a rich selection of wines on a regular basis. During the days he herds sheep, cattle and freelances at an ostrich-buffalo ranch. Though he does not have to work (He is a kept-yuppie pet after all) he does so for the pure pleasure of it. In the evenings, while savoring his favorite wines, he regales his bitch and puppies with tales of buffalo stampedes, juggling ostrich eggs and sheep dung. “WD” his friends call him, not to be confused with “WMD.” “WD, what do you think of this cab, or that zin?”, they often ask. His opinion is highly revered within his circle as his canine nose is more highly attuned than most. Given his superior sniffer, we invited him to write for us. Well, since he doesn’t have thumbs, we allow him to record his reviews and send them in as MP3’s. With a secret software we bootlegged from Microsoft, we translate his barks, sniffs and growls into English for your enjoyment.
