So, I’m still just warming up to the Rosé. Anything neither red nor white scares me a little bit. It could be traumatic memories of White Zinfandel in boxes of wine kept in my college dorm room closet for months on end, I’m not quite sure. Anyway, I’ve had a couple of good ones. Rosenblum did a nice job here. Berries, berries, berries and more berries abound.

[More:]

The lively wine was like a huge bouquet of lilies and strawberries, if such a bouquet could actually exist. (I was referring to an actual bouquet of flowers, not the snooty wine term). The color of the wine is quite dark, garnet, really. Inviting, actually. Anything paler really starts to scare me. I wouldn’t dare drink this wine unless it was hot outside. It’s one of those refreshers that may make you squint if the sun’s not shining. We enjoyed this Rosé before the Bim Bim Bop adventure. I don’t believe it was paired with anything. I may have been an inconsiderate hostess, lacking the appropriate appetizers to hold over my guests, but thankfully, the Rosé held up pretty well on its own.
